The Book of Numbers sermon 3

proverbs-3v5and6-for-fb-numbers-from-dec-10-2016-with-hebrew3

Secured and protected in the Tabernacle lies the Holy of Holies. No, this is not God’s throne room, but rather God’s footstool, where His feet are supported. And wherever His feet, or that footstool is planted, it becomes holy ground because the presence of a holy God is there. Whereas Moses was to take off his shoes because of the holy ground, God makes the ground holy with His footprint.
We want to follow the footprints of the Lord, the footsteps of the Messiah because when we let Him lead, He makes the ground ahead of us holy, prepared for us to walk on and do His work. And just as the Tabernacle was to move in a special order when it went from one location to another, do we likewise do the same when we make decisions to take steps in one direction or another? Do we follow an appropriate order; first pray and consider and then knowing what is the permissible will of God, do we go ahead, entrusting each step to Him? Not only does He prepare the ground, but He prepares us and empowers us. As we will hear in this week’s message, it is not what we do for God, but rather what God will do through us for His kingdom. Can we trust the Lord to lead us and are we willing to go where He will take us? Is anything too hard for the Lord?
Be blessed as you listen to the latest message in the Book of Numbers with Messianic leader, Jacques Isaac Gabizon, shalom.

    one-body-united-in-messiah-fb-dec-7-2016

How did our great God move 3 million people through a desert? By order, obedience and design. They moved as a body together as one, each group following the other; each one with their responsibilities and functions. How does God today take care of millions of believers worldwide? He moves us together through this world as one Body, some as the eyes, some as His hands, some as His feet and some as His mouth. We are one Body in Messiah and all the earth will one day rejoice when He whose Name is above all names will be praised from every corner of the earth. We will all sing in unison at that time: How great is our God!

The Book of Numbers sermon 1

book-of-numbersThe Book of Numbers can be described as many things, but not as a math book unless we continue to add up the blessings, multiply that by God’s grace, divide those blessings among the body of believers and subtract sin that limits our growth. Numbers is a big book, the biggest of the 5 Torah books, yet we will not let the number of words impress us. That is not the goal. The goal rather is to see how the Lord takes our personal growth to heart. As big as God is, for the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him, He will use the smallest of things to demonstrate His greatness. Only a handful of flour in a bowl and little oil in the jar amounted to endless provision for a widow and her son. Five barley loaves and two fish fed more than 15 thousand. Yes, small things count for God … we too are small, like sands of the sea, but to God, He has counted us worthy to die for. We praise our great God who counts on even the smallest things, like us, to demonstrate the majesty of His great glory… for we know the Lord is great!
